Check out US Soccer’s website today at 6:15pm to watch “exclusive live look-ins and player interviews”. The game doesn’t start till 9pm on ESPN2 and Galavision, so you’ve got plenty of time to kick off your shoes, eat dinner, open a beer, and settle in your favorite chair for the game.

Below is the USA roster, which I got from ussoccer.com regarding who was in camp. Not sure if this has changed much if at all, other than Tim Howard has apparently gone back to England after the Ecuador game.

GOALKEEPERS (3):
Brad Guzan (Chivas USA)
Tim Howard* (Everton FC)
Kasey Keller* (Borussia Moenchengladbach)

DEFENDERS (9):
Wade Barrett (Houston Dynamo)
Carlos Bocanegra* (Fulham FC)
Steve Cherundolo* (Hannover 96)
Jimmy Conrad* (Kansas City Wizards)
Jay DeMerit (Watford FC)
Oguchi Onyewu* (Newcastle United)
Heath Pearce (FC Nordsjælland)
Frank Simek (Sheffield Wednesday)
Jonathan Spector (West Ham United)

MIDFIELDERS (7):
DaMarcus Beasley* (Manchester City)
Michael Bradley (SC Heerenveen)
Brian Carroll (D.C. United)
Clint Dempsey* (Fulham FC)
Benny Feilhaber (Hamburger SV)
Justin Mapp (Chicago Fire)
Brian Mullan (Houston Dynamo)

FORWARDS (5):
Brian Ching* (Houston Dynamo)
Kenny Cooper (FC Dallas)
Landon Donovan* (Los Angeles Galaxy)
Eddie Johnson* (Kansas City Wizards)
Taylor Twellman (New England Revolution)

Those in bold are players I’d like to see play tonite for an extended period. We’ve got 6 subs so if they can at least get a half that would be great. Beasley should just go home, he hasn’t offered anything to the team in a year and a half at least, lets see if somebody else can do the job. And I’d like to see someone other than Landon Donovan score goals for the US. He does great against these little fish in CONCACAF, but wilts like soggy toast against the big competition. Unfortunately, everybody rests our country’s hopes and dreams on his all-too-slight shoulders and then we have no-one else who can carry us onward.

Guatemala should be a tough match, but in the end the US should win easily. This is a good chance to blood some of the young and inexperienced guys.
