Gibbs Says Briggs Trade Is Not ‘Imminent’ on the Washington Post website.
This actually sounds like a good deal as far as trades go… Which means it won’t happen, at least the way it has been rumored to be setup. The ‘skins seem to make a habit of getting fleeced in these trades. I think this is actually a fair swap, Briggs and the 31st pick for the 6th pick overall.
What I would really like tho, is for us NOT to trade. Or if we do trade, trade down for more picks. I’m tired of every year seeing other teams make great pickups (granted some misses too) and we only have one pick in the 7th round. So lets hope that changes this year.
