I’m not sure why the British Newspaper (tabloid?) The Register calls this article “Chinese black helicopters circle Google Earth“, since there is really no mention of helicopters in the article. BUT far more interesting is what the Google Earth community has found the Chinese governement up to.
They have created a 900x700m mockup of a mountainous landscape next to a military base. What so wierd about that? Well, nothing I suppose in and of itself. The kicker is that apparently it is a scaled down replica of a piece of terrain along the Chinese-India border which is under dispute by both sides.
If I suddenly dissappear, please tell George Dubya I’ve been abducted and am being held in China…
