OK, folks. I know it’s funny. But please… I’ve gotten like 37 copies of the cnnbcvideo.com video where I was the only one not to vote. I know you all got a chuckle at the part where I get called LAZY and was sleeping through the poll time. I get it. Ha. Ha.

Let’s move on please.

I am just now watching last week’s Fringe, episode called “The Cure”. I must say, the start of the episode was one of the most shocking (in a good way) I’ve seen in years. Actually, I don’t know if I’ve seen a more shocking opening. Bravo. Bra-vo.

I gotta say I really like this show. The crazy old doctor Bishop is the best. I have to give it to Joh Noble, he plays a GREAT crazy. You’ll also remember him as a long-haired Denethor who went crazy till Gandolf whacked him over the head with his staff. He plays such a great genius-type, his mind constantly wandering and putting things together. Comments like “Can you pick me up some cotton candy? Blue NOT pink” right after picking pieces of flesh out of a headless corpse make this show worth watching.

On another note. DC United’s season has mercifully ended with a 1-0 loss to the Supporters Shield winning Columbus Crew. I’ll have more on that at some point later on. There’s so much to write, so much to consider, and I have to catch up on half-a-season’s worth.

Redskins won to go 6-2. In case I haven’t said it before, I’ll say it now. This team is good. But not that good. This will be a season of ups and downs. The offense was awful to open the season, then went on a tear for a few weeks and has now taken a sabatical for 3 weeks. The mark of a good team is beating those teams you’re supposed to, and stealing some against teams you shouldn’t. Well, we’ve beaten some teams we shouldn’t have, but we’ve also lost to some teams we shouldn’t have. I suspect that until all the players get comfortable in this system (and I’m talking a few years down the road) we’ll continue to see this up and down.
