Do I detect a little something between Cap and the Black Widow? Hmmmm. I had to do some digging to figure some stuff out about the villains. The Winter Soldier is apparently Bucky who didn’t die in the first movie but was rescued, brainwashed, and cyborg-ized by the Russians. In the comics, Winter Soldier eventually becomes the “new” Captain America after he is killed by…. wait for it…. Crossbones who is ALSO in this movie.

I am intrigued a little, but I would like to know more of the plot. Visuals look pretty good, and this trailer seems to have a bit more action than the previous ones. We shall see….

X-MEN: Days of Future Past

Oh, this trailer instantly got me hyped. I love the score they used, and quite a teaser without telling you the whole story. Looking forward to this one.

The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug

Two TV spots. I liked the first Hobbit movie, but not as much as I did the Lord of the Rings trilogy. There seems to be an awful lot of CG and I’m not sure that’s a good thing…

Hunger Games: Catching Fire

Looks like a good follow-up. This trailer focuses on the action, but as I recall the main story in this is the brewing rebellion/uprising. Should be good.

And finally….

Ender’s Game

Man. This movie had BETTER BE GOOD. Or there will be riots in the street. I have my doubts that this movie can live up to the book. But I look forward to them trying. There is a good cast, and the visuals look top-notch. IGN gives it a 7/10 and it opens this weekend.
