La Barra Brava, DC United supporters group is in Honduras supporting them against CD Olympia in a CONCACAF Champions Cup match tonite at 9pm on Fox Soccer Channel.Today the Barra Brava website has an article documenting some of the action going on today in Honduras. In case you didn’t know DC United is playing CD Olympia of Honduras tonite in the CONCACAF Champions Cup. This is a tournament with clubs from North and Central America who compete in a Home-and-Away format to determine who is the BEST in the region. The winner then gets to participate in the FIFA Club World Cup against the winners of other regional tournaments. According to this link on FIFA’s website, there is a total of $15million dollars up for grabs as the payoff to the winners.

We had a rather large escort, at least 7 police officers and several soliders with AK47 rifles.
The pitch in the stadium is rather poor. The stadium is shared between Olimpia and their rival side and the pitch shows a lot of wear. There are dead patches and the grass isn’t even anywhere in the stadium.
The funniest moment was when Emilio drilled Olsen in the nuts and Benny then said “Oh you Cunt” and fell down.
