iOS has had this for a while, but now it’s finally available for Android.

While I’m happy that I can FINALLY watch Amazon Instant Video on my *phone*, I am a little disappointed in some aspects. First, this is only available (right now) on the phone app, not on the tablet app which is the main place I’d want to watch it. Since it’s only a plugin to the main Amazon Shopping app, it doesn’t download videos for later watching which is an issue if you want to watch and not eat up all your bandwidth.
I’ll take what I can get, and I’ll keep waiting for downloads and tablet availability.
