Or is it “whom”? I can never get that stuff straight.

In case you haven’t heard of the Watchmen (I hadn’t until just recently) from Wkipedia:

Watchmen is set in 1985, in an alternate history United States where costumed adventurers are real and the country is edging closer to a nuclear war with the Soviet Union (the Doomsday Clock is permanently set at five minutes to midnight). It tells the story of a group of past and present superheroes and the events surrounding the mysterious murder of one of their own. Watchmen depicts superheroes as real people who must confront ethical and personal issues, who struggle with neuroses and failings, and who—with one notable exception—lack anything recognizable as super powers.

AICN has some of the Comic-Con posters on their site. They got the hi-res images direct from Warner Brothers. The premise is kinda interesting, but the characters don’t look all that great. Supposedly, the story is supposed to be top-notch and that is really why all the hoopla. Click the image below to see all the posters from AICN.

Here is the Watchmen Trailer from Brightcove (couldn’t embed the Apple version).

The music is good. The visuals are good in a Sin City/300 dark kind of way. Its just the costumes are a little… cheesy?
