I’m curious though… does this tactic actually work on anyone? I figure if you have to tell people you’re a “catch”, then really, you’re not. It’s kinda like when you have to tell people “I’m not stupid.” Odds are you just did something that was really stupid, and people give you that “look” like they’re talking to someone with the IQ of a squirrel, which makes you say that.
