[Knocking on wood] Slow day at the office so far, so I think I’ll catch up on a few things. Firstly, have ya’ll been watching the Euro ’08 matches? Shame on you if you haven’t. As my dad (I think) said, “The European cup is like the World cup but without Brazil and Argentina”. So True. The quality of play has been top notch. I’m watching the Spain vs Russia game right now (about 15mins in) and I’ll watch the Germany vs Turkey game later.

Make sure you catch the final of Euro ’08 this Sunday at 2:45pm on ABC (in HD where available). Germany vs Spain. As my co-worker Geoff calls it “Battle of History’s Worst Atrocities. The Inquisition vs The Holocaust”. I’m just hoping for a good game.

Also on Sunday is the DC United vs LA Galaxy match. Otherwise known as “Beckham (and some other yokels) vs DC United”. Also on ABC, and also in HD where available, but this one is at noon. RFK stadium should be packed, I think i’ve seen reports of over 30k tickets already sold. And if the weather is nice there will probably be at least 5-10k in walk-up sales. This is a match featuring the top two teams in goals scored vs the worst two teams in goals scored against. Common logic says it should be a baseball-like score of 6-4, but I’m not really common, so I’m going with a 0-0 prediction and just hoping I’m wrong. Speaking of baseball, there will be a pretty good competition to see who has the most people in the stadium. Those watching United vs Galaxy or those watching Nationals vs Orioles.

Little brother *finally* put the Adobe Premiere Elements software I sent him to good use. Compiling this mini music video to Liquid Soul’s “No Cents”.

via AICN, go see some video clips from the upcoming X-Files: I Want to Believe movie. I think they should put either an exclamation point or a question mark after the title. So it should be “X-Files: I Want to Believe!” or it should be “X-Files: I Want to Believe?“. I think that makes it a whole lot more interesting.

Also via AICN, some plot spoilers for the upcoming Transformers 2 movie. Nothing ground breaking, but interesting nonetheless.

Now this… I have no idea what to make of this. Neil Patrick Harris, otherwise known as Doogie Howser, stars as Dr. Horrible in a webisode(?) series that is described thusly:

“It’s the story of a low-rent super-villain, the hero who keeps beating him up, and the cute girl from the laundromat he’s too shy to talk to.”

Here’s the teaser trailer for it.
