Did you know there is actually such a thing as a feral child? That is, somebody who grew up with animals. And I don’t mean in the normal sense that your family had a pet. No. I mean GREW UP with animals, as in “raised by wolves”.
“Gone to the dogs: the girl who ran with the pack” has some interesting tidbits, but this one caught my eye.

Can you imagine the shock and horror that your girlfriend (and I assume “girlfriend” means they had been dating for a while) all of a sudden turns into she-wolf? OK, well for some of you maybe thats a turn on. To each his own I guess.
